This was a question I often asked myself as I struggled to understand why the amount of engagement my films received wasn't correlating to the level of creative effort I put into them. Frustration soon turned into doubting whether I was even skilled to begin with causing me to be less and less motivated to create. Social media algorithms reward quantity over quality which made me realize that it wasn't my art that was the problem; it was the room that it was sitting in.

Modern Day Odyssey is a curated cohort of eight cinematic storytellers coming together for a shared international production experience. This experience is a structured field intensive workshop built around collaboration, creative challenge, and meaningful output through exploratory adventure.

Over the course of the program, we will produce a collaborative documentary followed by coordinated individual promotion campaigns highlighting each filmmaker’s personal voice and work. Selection is not based on follower or subscriber count but rather overall creative alignment, demonstrated commitment to craft, collaborative mindset, and readiness to grow.
